Stacey sat by herself on a small bench in the park. She was surrounded by flowers and greenery and happiness, but she felt horrible. Her parents had basically ordered her to come into the city and finish her training, and they weren`t too happy with her. Stacey didn`t know anyone outside of the assassin or theivery services; aparently, no one else could be trusted.
Stacey was a little softer than her harsh parents. She liked to read and talk to people, of course almost all of the people she had ever talked to were twenty years older and had killed countless people.
Stacey had been positioned as a spy by her mother, who happened to need a few feild agents. Being a spy was hard work, especially when you didn`t know what you were supposed to be spying on or have any resources.
She needed a friend. She didn`t know it, but she did. As she sat on the cold bench, a chilly breeze came along and blew her hair off of her shoulders and away from her face. Stacey lifted her head slightly and let her dark blue eyes blink away the sharpness of the wind. With a sigh, she wrapped her arms around herself.

The tiny Vampire Queen saw a young girl sitting on a bench alone looking distressed and being who she was, just had to find out if she might not be able to put at the least a smile on the humans lips. It was day time and Kyrea’s daily walk in her home town was as it always was and in the end she usually came to finding some lost soul she could cheer up, she hoped she could do so again.
Kyrea, looking for all the world like a 16 year old girl herself approached the other girl and after a moment, she stepped close enough so that she could address the young thing.
“Hi.” She stated quite clearly though in her usual soft natured almost shy tone as she looked over at the girl.
Kyrea had chosen to wear a simple summer dress yet again; this one was white with little roses around the bottom edge of the skirt. Her hair was down today though; its red-black locks waving about slightly in the bit of breeze the world had to offer them on this warm day.
Her huge manservant stood quietly a few steps behind her, his massive bulk menacing to even the most stout of humans, though, he too held a sort of kindness in his deep brown eyes.

Stacey`s head jerked up before the girl spoke as an instinctive move. "Hello." She replied softly. Her eyes were caught in a dark blue, and they had to stay that way now that someone had seen them. There were very few people who even knew that her eyes changed colors, let alone witnessed it.
She carefully adjusted her denim jacket she always wore to cover the small daggers attached to her wrists and arms by leather sheaths.
As the wind blew her hair away from her face, revealing the corner of her jaw, she turned her head slightly away from the girl.

Regardless of the other girls attempts to hide her daggers, Kyrea had already heard them there just the same as she heard the girls pain, felt it as a matter of fact, something most of her race probably wouldn’t give a lick about, but not this little Queen, no, she actually took human life seriously and in her own passionate way, loved each of them. Once again, and of course, she killed, but that was only to feed, and not always, she hated it when she had gone to far, taken the life she’d not intended, lost herself in her vampire lust.
“Are you ok?” She asked then, taking a step closer, waving her manservant to stay where he was, all the while her deep dark orbs remained on the girl as she took yet another slow step closer to her.

Stacey hesitated before she answered; she could sense something that wasn`t quite normal about this person, but she couldn`t put her finger on what it was.
"Not really." She answered quietly, letting the sadness show through her voice since the other person had obviously realized she was was upset about something.
Secretly, she was glad the girl had interupted her internal babble; she was lonely, and didn`t really know what to do about it.

The small Queen offered the girl a warm smile. “Mind if I have a seat with you for a moment?” She asked politely in her usual soft voice.
Truly, this girl needed a friend just now, an ear perhaps? Maybe just that, an ear to listen to her, Kyrea was full of advise but she was just as good at listening, if the other was willing to talk.
The huge man standing behind the small girl stayed where he was, unmoving, his soft brown gaze on Kyrea and from time to time, the small area around them.

Stacey shrugged slowly. "Sure." She murmured sadly. She felt something that wasn`t pleasant, but she was more interested it what this person had to say, mabey she could get a friend or two in this new town she had been forced to come to.
"If you don`t mind," She started polietely, "Could I have your name? I`m Stacey."

Kyrea mentally kicked herself, how could she have been so rude as to not introduce herself? Truly, her mind wasn’t slipping that far., she almost never forgot her manners in any situation, perhaps her preoccupation in her studies had done it her new found delights in the White Tower she’d been invited to, yes perhaps that was it.
“I do apologize, how rude of me.” She stated and then shook her head. “My name is Kyrea, I am most pleased to meet you.” She finished and offered the girl yet another soft and reassuring smile and a gloved hand to shake.
She honestly wanted to converse with the girl, find out what was bothering her, Kyrea had plenty of leverage in plenty of places and if the girl was perhaps in trouble, she could be of help, that and the fact that Kyrea knew she made a good ally to anyone who might be in need of one.

Stacey gave a small smile and firmly shook the gloved hand. "Nice to meet. you." She said happily. She figured mabey this person could really be a friend.
Her parents really wouldn`t be too happy with her if they knew she wasn`t concentrating on her orders as much as she should have. Truely, she shouldn`t be thinking about anything else, but she wasn`t a big fan of orders.
Not that she didn`t want to work as a spy, no she loved spy work. There were so many puzzles involved, it almost seemed like a huge game.
Stacey smiled again to Kyrea. "Would you like to sit?" She asked, motioning to the empty spot beside her.

Kyrea was happy the girl had accepted her and after she had shook her hand and was offered her seat, the small girl sat down, leaving her Hug manservant to stand, though now, he moved to her side, to stand there silently watching over the two girls as they would begin to converse.
“Oh!” Kyrea exclaimed. “This is Drannis, he keeps an eye on me when I’m walking the city, he’s great to have around, but don’t worry about him, he doesn’t speak, so far as I know any way, I haven’t heard him do it yet though so, well ya.” She stated and giggled slightly.
It was the troth though, Kyrea hadn’t ever known if he could even speak, and if he could, he never has and she figured that if he wanted to, he would when he felt so inclined.
“Are you from around here at all?” She asked, figuring that might be a good place to start, perhaps this girl just wasn’t feeling to happy about being in a new city, let alone one of this size.

Stacey smiled and nodded to Drannis as Kyrea introduced him; she would have said hi, but aparently he didn`t talk. If he could talk, Stacey was sure she could make him, but that would be on another day, if she ever saw Kyrea again.
"No, not at all I`m from a town east of here." Stacey answered. It was a lie; she was really from a town in the west, but she knew it would be best for no one to suspect where she was from or why she was in the city.
"Are you from around here?" She replied, repeating the question.

Kyrea nodded her head to the girls question and smiled. “Ya I am, I live in the upper portion of the High City area. “Ya, rich kid, I know.. I get it all the time.” She stated this last part with a sort of ‘humph’ in her voice as if she didn’t like it all too well.
Kyrea as always, listened to the girl’s speech patterns and as well her heart when she spoke, and she knew instantly when a lie was told, but was not to judge, she herself would make many a story up in this conversation to save from saying who exactly she was as well. After all, everyone had his or her reasons and who was she to judge anyone for doing what she had to do every day of her life.
“Ya, this place is huge though, are you here alone?” She then asked.

After Kyrea replied, Stacey felt something. Something down in her stomach, but she didn`t say anything. What could she say? Hey, my stomach feels weird, do you happen to know why? Yea, no.
"No, actually. I have a bodyguard," She glanced up to Drannis, "And my grandma and cousin are here with me." This wasn`t a lie. She really was here with her coisin, a grandparent, and a bodyguard. It`s just her cousin was a thief and her grandma was a master assassin.
She smiled. "And don`t worry `bout the rich-kid stuff, I come from certain wealth." She assured. Another truth, but one-hundred percent true this time.

“Oh thank goodness” Kyrea replied with a laugh. “I was hoping I wouldn’t get that yet again.” She finished and sighed. “And I am glad you aren’t here alone, I find so many people that come here totally by themselves with no place to really stay or whatever and often get myself into trouble by offering them a place to stay.” She smiled. That too was truth, the vampires of her house all came here looking for a place to stay, and she sometimes picks up the trouble makers and in the end, gets many a complaint from her other quests at her mansion.
Drannis actually smiled and then rolled his eyes slightly when she told Stacy this, he had been around long enough to have had seen some of those less than welcoming vampires she’d let into her estate. Some of them wanting to have him for their dinner, of course, Kyrea usually ended up killing those ones, he might have been her guardian during the day, but at night, things were always reversed.

Stacey smiled again, and despite her catiousness her eyes lightened slightly. "Well, I`m glad that I won`t just be some snobby rich kid that everyone hates." She joked. She kind of had a reputation for being able to be a jerk sometimes, and a lot of people blamed it on her money. "So, do you have any pets?" She asked, thinking of Marko, her wonderful, unique cat. (Sorry that my posts are getting shorter. )
