Kyrea offered Nereis as soft a grin as she could at that point, realizing his surprise and somewhat understanding his slight fear that she smelt easily enough. “Oh no, I assure you they are not all vampire.” She relied soon after his last question. “As for me, well, yes I am vampire, about a vampire as you might become as a matter of fact.” She then stated as she now stood and looked down at the one she now knew as Nereis. All her earlier suspicions of his being a vampire hunter had gone straight from her mind after this last comment, putting the vampire queen more at easy for who it had been she saved from what would have been, no matter abilities as a young warrior, his certain death. She walked around and laid one hand on the great shoulder of her guardian and great, great grandson. “This one is human, same as yourself, his name is Drannis.” She said in a soft loving tone that only the closest of family would use toward one another. She then moved to the side of Titus and took his hand in her own and smiled warmly at him for a moment. “This, this is Master Titus the white Mage and I assure you there is no vampire in him.” She chuckled lightly, though her eyes still remain almost vacant of joy. Her feet then moved over to Odin whom she stood next to and put a hand about his waist and laid her head softly on his shoulder. “This, my new friend, is Odin.” She paused for a moment, regarding her new friend with her light-blue orbs. “Necromancer and though he is not vampire, he is…” She turned her eyes on Titus for a moment before she returned them to Nereis. “He is blood-mate to the Queen of Vampires.” She declared with a slight curtsy all the while her eyes never leaving Nereis; to make sure what she was saying would sink in.
The Vampire Queen now moved from Odin’s side and returned to her chair and seated herself in its deep, soft cushion and watched Nereis for a time before she again spoke, her mind still trying to grasp why it was he was in that clearing, in that area at all. Certainly he knew not to enter there. Did not all of Celesta know better? “What, Nereis were you doing in that area?” She finally asked her one major question, deciding it best to just get it out while she was still in good spirits. “Only bad comes of entering Drazens world of twisted evil darkness.” She then told him. “Certainly you had at least heard storied.” She finished her question and awaited an answer.
She was definitely not pleased that she had to do what it was she did, killing of any creature never was easy for Kyrea and even though the vampires in the tombs were evil and twisted, all but Drazen had no choice, as they were for the most part only creations of his own twisted and evil mind.

As the introductions rolled in front of the young man, he was caught between a feeling of surprise and curiosity. The woman that had saved his life by defeating and killing vampires, was a vampire.
He had hardly met a mage and now one of the dark arts and a master of the white arts were in the same room with him, all curious as to what had happened the night before.
Nereis took a comfortable position on the couch, sitting as a person normally sits on a chair. He lowered his head slightly and examined the events that had brought him here.
"I am an explorer." He spoke with a calm voice as he raised his head and rolled his sight onto the faces of all the people in the room.
"I gain great pleasure and excitement from searching strange places in the world and in the soul. I had heard about strange people gathering there, vampires. And I wanted to see who they really are. I wanted to see that which is a mystery to many. I had hoped to perhaps learn something from them, as it is said that in order to understand the day better, one must also understand the night."
He paused to draw his breath. He hadn't been asked before to explain why he went in these places, risk was no stranger to him, but the experience gathered from these close encounters would greatly boost his wisdom and judgment. He now wanted to ask many questions from the mages and the lady but a quick thought to a close friend made him change his posture.
Suddenly he got up and asked with a slight touch of panic in his voice:
"Where is Vasar? Is he alright?"

Kyrea rolled her eyes over his comment about vampires living in the tombs. “More like evil undead.” She responded with what seemed like a bad taste in her mouth. “As for your horse…” She moved on much too quickly as she knew the discussion of Drazen would come around soon enough and as it was, Nereis was still needing to bath and dress. “I assure you that he is resting happily in the stables. Drannis had taken quite good care of him and his wounds have been tended to, as well…” She smiled over at Drannis who inclined his head. “I am certain, quite spoiled him.” She finished that line and then looked over at the half dressed man.
“Nereis, if would like to bath and dress, there are clean clothes laid out for you right over there and Drannis can show you the way to the washroom where I can have a bath drawn for you in short order.” She then stated as she smiled warmly once more at the human. “Your other clothing has been taken away to be cleaned and mended but you should fit those…” She motioned toward the clothes the other vampire had fetched from upstairs quite a bit earlier in the morning. “Will fit you just fine.” She finished, returning her gaze to him. “Once you’ve done all that, and if it will ease your mind, you can go and see to Vasar if you wish, by then, Lilly will have come up here with some food for you all to eat and we can get to honestly discussing what has transpired and I will be perhaps more inclined to answering all your questions, from all of you.” She stated and then looked at Odin. “I am assuming you have not slept as if yet either?” She questioned, raising a brow at him “I apologize to both of you Titus and Odin, it is turning out to be quite a long way to find out what you wish to know, however, sometimes it is best to put all minds at ease before we begin discussions of this manner, that way, there are no mental distractions that may make ones memory of events foggy or their moods even more foul than they should.” She finished and then sat even further back into her chair and awaited all to do or ask what they would of her.

Titus raised a brow as he watched the necromancer approach him and listened to his analysis of heaven and hell; it was quite an educated and well-conceived breakdown. His raised brow sharpened with Odin’s conclusion and his mouth crooked in a thoughtful manner; he had no quick response for that one. This boy was witty, that much was for certain, and he was lacking the arrogant and snide stature of other dark arts practitioners Titus had known, though the boy was definitely cocky.
He listened then to Kyrea’s introduction and greeting, and as well to her further introduction of all others present. It was quite a motley crew in the vampire’s mansion that morning. Titus was shaking his head with a light but hearty laugh when the human boy asked if they were all vampires and when Kyrea had answered aloud for him. He raised his brow again at Kyrea’s admitted connection with the necromancer. The idea was stunning and most unexpected. Not only did Titus harbor great distaste for necromancers, but vampires usually did too, for the relation between their natures.
Titus didn’t say anything for a little while as he pondered what was said and watched Kyrea go take her seat. The introductions hadn’t been the first time Titus had heard Odin’s name, but he suddenly had realized something and he raised that brow once more as he looked at the young necromancer. “The VanRhyne boy?” he asked suspiciously. Odin was not a common name, and the boy did seem to show signs of privilege. “If nothing else boy, I can say I understand leaving home. Your parents are terribly snide and vein; worse even, I think than Kyrea’s dreadfully dull ancestors.” Like the Shaw home, Titus had been invited many times to the VanRhyne manor. Like the Shaw manor, Titus had declined all invitations as of late. The master mage laughed a little.
After musing a little with the young necromancer; something Titus had never imagined himself ever doing, he went and sat on a sofa neighboring Kyrea. “It’s not often these days that a show of force like the one you made this morning are made, let alone around here.” Titus had turned his head to look at Kyrea. “What prompted it?” Titus had to be responsible. “I don’t mean to rush things either dear, but why do it alone?” he didn’t wait long before going off topic. “And blood bound to a necromancer?” his question was filled not only with vein resentment but primarily, pure curiosity.”

Odin had turned towards a seat after giving Titus that little smirk but was moving very slowly in spurts as he listened to everything else going on. He held a faint grin as Kyrea stated his relation to her, but the pride was mixed. It hadn’t been a planned tying of their lives. He held no resentment about it, but the whole thing was still confusing to him. He had decided before that there was nothing to be changed and that life would carry on; the question was in what manner. He didn’t think he was the type of person to commit, but he also wasn’t sure about how he would be feeling; or more precisely, how he would feel about how Kyrea would feel.
At that time, Odin was feeling the sadness and the disappointment from Kyrea. It wasn’t phasing him though, since he was so used to feeling remorse from all the souls who he had harbored through his life. He was so used to it in fact, that he almost didn’t even notice that it was from Kyrea, except that her feelings felt different to him than the passed souls.
He grinned and laughed at the master mage’s comment and he turned his head back to face him. “Yeah.” He replied, nodding his head. “They are pretty bad.” He laughed for a moment before continuing as Titus took his seat. “And they thought I would grow up to be just like them. They STILL think that I’m gonna go back home and everything will be fixed. Despite all the years I’ve been gone, they still think that I’m going to take up the family empire and continue raising it to new heights.” He shook his head while wandering over to take his seat on the other side of the vampire queen. His family had grown to new levels of status in the last few generations, and then, though it was at it’s all time peek at the height of all families in the city Celesta, was at a plateau. Any time he did see his parents, they had shined like they thought their son would be the prodigal that time. Before he left home, everyone thought that Odin would take the VanRhyne family passed all the others; that he could bring them royal political status and bring them into the courts of the castle Celesta.
“It was an accident.” Odin shrugged as he sat down, and turned his head towards Titus again, passed Kyrea.

Kyrea was simply waiting for someone to talk, and it would seem that Titus had begun and so, she listened to him as he did so, her eyes following him about the room and as he took his seat next to her, her light-blue orbs fixed on him. When he stated his question as to the why of it all, Kyrea closed her eyes a moment and took a deep breath. Then, as he asked why alone, they flashed slightly with irritation and she had to take a long breath to steady her, what had been proving to be a quick tongue this morning, and began to rub her temple lightly as well. The Master Mage continued on however, and in his next question, Kyrea smiled slightly, though only that much so and it didn’t really last all that long. She was about to answer him, but then Odin began to speak and she then began listening to him instead, patiently, and almost relieved that he had began to speak, that gave her a moment to collect herself and regain some of what was lot in that irritation.
An accident He replied to Titus, to his final question and Odin couldn’t have put it any better. Though of course, she had no regrets, she liked Odin. Being tied to him in the manner that they were, just made it all that much easier for her to relate how she felt to him. As to his being a Necromancer, he was never out to control, or try to control her in any way, had he, he would have made a tasty snack indeed that evening, but that wasn’t what he’d been after, no, to her, a person was a person before they were anything else in her heart and in her eyes. She never was one to judge, she would leave that up to others.
“Yes, quite by accident I assure you. Had things been different, it would have never happened.” She replied then, her gaze turning from Odin to Titus again, her tone taking on an almost frigid and formal note again, as if she was entertaining the wealthy and they had just offended her in some callous manner.
“As for the first question…” She took a deep breath and then sighed as she let it out. “He was the reason for it.” She looked over at their new friend. “He was in need for some help and so I helped him, only at the time I arrived, it was a simple case of an angry Drazen that needed handling, but things got difficult when Drazen left and called his pack down on me.” She then went on. “I has no choice but to take the best care of Nereis I could and send him on his way, to save his life.” She stated quite honestly and then took another long breath. “As for why I did not ask for help…” She gave a half laugh. “I had no time to be honest with you. What was I supposed to do, take off running in the same direction as the Tower to run up 100 flights of steps being followed by crazed vampires, taking them straight to Nereis, who I might add they would have devoured like piranha devouring the flesh from the bones of a cow that gets stuck in their stream by accident, and who knows what else that might have gotten in their way, to get you?” She raised a brow at Titus. “No, I honestly don’t see a how I would have had any other choice than to do what I did, and I barely had time to do that.” She continued and then closed her eyes and sat back against the chair. “I would have preferred not to have had to do what I did…” She then stated softly, but said nothing else.

Nereis realized that the discussion didn't revolve around him, in fact people hardly listened to what he was saying. The idea of a warm bath made his spine tingle, he was still tired and a bath was exactly what he needed.
He got up, took the clothes offered to him in his hands, bowed his head and said:
"I thank you, I shall return shortly!"
Then he turned and started following the servant who led him to the bathing chamber.

Kyrea was certainly glad Nereis had decided to take the offered bath, she knew that the one she’d taken had made her feel just that much better after the nights happening. She smiled warningly up at him as he began to move in that direction.
“I know you are tired Nereis, and I do hope the bath does wonders to help ease your stress a bit.” She offered the man. “We still have a few things to talk about, and when you return, perhaps we can discuss them. Then after Lilly arrives with something for you all to eat, perhaps you can rest further in one of the rooms where you will be much more comfortable I am certain, than laying on the couch” She said as he moved away to clean himself up and put some decent clothes on, and she truly hoped he’d take her offer as she knew even if he didn’t want to stay, Vasar still needed rest and time to heal before he should be taken out again.
She then turned and looked at Titus and Odin in turn and then, not felling like saying anything further for the moment, she simply lay back in her chair again and closed her eyes to await the arrival of Lilly who, she knew, would have a good breakfast for her guests.
The entire morning was beginning to take its toll, she simply wasn’t feeling well still, the amount of energy she’d used up for that one act of will had taken far more from the Queen than she’d thought it would have. She’d only closed her eyes a moment though when pictures of the slaughter she’d created began flashing through her mind and so, she sighed, opened her eyes again and put on a smile once more then stood and started pacing the room instead.
It wasn’t but a few more moments when Drannis returned after showing Nereis the way to the washroom and he tilted his head at Kyrea then laid hands on her shoulders, stopping her pacing in mid stride; she had barely even noticed he was there. He leveled his gaze at her, wrapped his arms about her and held her there for a bit.
“Thank you Drannis.” She stated and grinned up at him. “Now, you’ve been awake all night, I am certain you are tired and in want of some rest yourself, perhaps you should go and do that.” She stated quite honestly, as the man truly had not slept yet, when normally he would have. He hesitated like he was going to object, but then smiled and nodded his head in agreement.
Drannis turned and smiled at Titus and inclined his head toward the Great Mage and then to Odin he did the same. The large man then turned and after placing a kiss on Kyrea’s forehead, he left down the hall.
“Would either of you like a drink?” She offered Titus and Odin when she turned and faced them.

Titus was curious about the details of the 'accident' in question that had bonded her to the necromancer. he didn't ask any further questions though, since she hadnt seemed overly enthused to offer any answers. she had in fact, seemed offended in a manner, and Titus hadn't the slightest clue why.
The mage nodded and smiled back at Drannis as the giant man bid him goodnight, or good day as it were. even he could see the aprehension in the large man to leave the side of his queen in the light of day, but there seemed to be an understanding that Kyrea was safe. If nothing else, Titus would see to it that any threat would be thwarted.
"I could use some water please." Titus replied with an appreciative smile and a nod to Kyrea. "And thank you." he added, pre emptively for the water.
"I suppose my question was rather non-sensicle dear," Titus began, thinking back about Kyrea's solo heroics. "I withdraw my aprehension, and give only my sincerest commendations for your strength and courage, Kyrea. I am still curious though, and eager to hear what comes of the discussions."

Odin didn't have much more to say at that point. he wasn't sure still what was going on with the way he felt, so he didn't want to make any distinct expressions in any manner. He also had nothing to add, he felt, to the conversation since he really knew nothing of what was going on. all he had was a deep concern for Kyrea and a sweeping feeling of relief that she was or would be all right.
"I'll have a water too." the necromancer added, feeling a tingle in the back of his throat. the swift walk over there had built a thirst in him, which was accelerated by that nagging slight decay he tended to go through for sake of his being. his attachment to death mostly only hindered his eyes to the sunlight, but there were a few other very minor effects that he occasionally felt from his dark dealings.

Kyrea filled two glasses full of the water that Drannis had brought into the room for their guests and walked them over, handing the first to Titus and the second to Odin, that strained smile residing on her lips the entire time.
“I am certain Lily should be here soon, she will need to get Jess off to school before she heads up here, but honestly, it shouldn’t be too far off.” She told the two as she made her way back to the covered windows and started her pacing once more.
She was thinking about the night, about what had happened as to why Drazen had simply melded away like he had, it was not like him to do something like that. Of course, there was no way for the Queen to know he had been drugged by the young man’s sword and that was also perhaps the reason for the outright attack on his queen, as Drazen might have been a nasty, narcissistic jerk, but he had never before tried to actually destroy her. She was running through scenarios in her mind as to the why. She knew he was angry with her for interrupting him, but when wasn’t he angry with her?
Kyrea then stopped in her tracks and sighed, turned toward Odin and Titus and shook her head. “I just can’t figure it out.” She stated quite exasperated. “I mean, he’s never tried to actually kill me before, why would he do so now?” She went on, expressing her concerns. “Of course there was never a feeling of friendliness between us, not from the start when he and Dhakham had first met….” She moved on and then began pacing again for a bit more, now voicing her thoughts out loud. “What would have made him do something like that, knowing I would be forced to retaliate so harshly?’ She then questioned. “I mean I know he’d found it slightly amusing to see me accomplish something I despise doing and would hurt me deeply in the end, but still, this was different, this was an outright attack on ME!” She raised her voce at the end and then growled as she continued to pace, her hands clasped behind her back, across the wide window to the right, and then back again to the left. “No, something was odd about him, something not right, it just wasn’t him in that clearing, perhaps our young friend could clear that up when he returns…” She said but continued pacing, continued thinking. “I hope.” She ended as her feet continued to move across the carpet.

Nereis didn't waste time, although he would have spent hours just standing in hot water, he didn't want to keep the others waiting too long. He clensed his body from head to toe, then he got out of the tub and dried himself with the towels left by the servant. He took on the clothes given to him by the strange lady. they were made of fine cotton and they were a perfect fit, but the young man felt naked without his armour and sword. He streched his long wet hair over his back before taking a look in the mirror. He looked straight into the eyes of his reflection and smiled, then he turned around and left the bathing chamber which was still filled with hot steam.
He entered the room where the others were waiting. He felt fresh and confident, ready for the barrage of questions which would surely be asked.
He was met with silence, the young lady was standing in the center of the room while the master mage and the necromancer were sitting quietly, each with a glass of water in front of them.
"I hope I didn't keep you waiting." he said with a calm voice.
