“Oh, my dear young lady.” Titus proclaimed ecstatically, “You could woo my mind with such answers as rumor and speculation could not begin to explain.” The prospect of having the vampire world explained by an actual vampire, let alone a vampire royal, was too fabulous to express.
“Your entire existence is mere mass of theories in the human world.” He began to explain, “We obviously understand that you exist, but nobody knows how. Nobody knows what it is like to be a vampire, save for vampires themselves.”
Titus shook his head as a myriad of curiosities rushed through his mind. “The single greatest thing I would wonder about you, is simply what it is like to be you.” He said, unsure if the question could ever truly be answered. “To be a vampire must fill a person with such intense emotion in a manner which no human could ever feel. The lust, the darkness, the feeding, the incredible abilities, everything about you is pure sensation. I can not imagine what all that would be like.”

He was so correct in his assumptions of what it was to be vampire, so close in his attempts at defining what he thought it would be like. He didn’t find them to be what so many did, and to this, it would make things so much ‘easier’ to explain what it was like to be a vampire.
With a smile on her lightly colored lips, Kyrea began to explain.
“What it is like to be me…” She began and then thought a moment as to how to try and explain this one. After a moment though, she shook her head and smiled. “You are correct in your assumption of the intense passion vampires hold within themselves. Imagine the thrill, the passion and love you hold for knowledge and then intensify that near ten fold and you may come close to how passionate a vampire truly is.” She began. “It is quite unfortunate that so many find that passion too overwhelming and it ultimately dives them quiet insane.” She continued. “I can feel with my every step, the vibrations in the ground, and not just mine alone, but every step, every person takes around me for quite some distance. I know that there is a man about thirty feet to our right who walks with the slightest limp. I can hear conversations taking place behind steal doors, and so far as I can see. I can smell, the softest scent of a woman’s perfume for the same distance, or the fragrance of a flow, the true fragrance, not just what lies on top of the soft petals, but what lies within them as well.” She told him. “I can smell the blood pulsing within you veins, even though they are not exposed and I can hear your heart beat, and know when it is that you would be frightened or excited, can tell the difference.” She smiled at him again. “There is so much I want to share with you, so many books I would love to add to your own, personal collection of works, and will trust you with them.” She then stated. “I will be honored to teach you everything there is to know, and try my best to help you understand.” She then told him and then took a long breath. “The honor and trust you have given me is more than I could ever repay, and for that, I am forever in your debt. Though I know you give it freely and do not expect anything in return, I can not help but want to return as best I can. You have given me further reason to enjoy finding and seeking the knowledge that I so love.” She tried to explain. “Well, just, thanks.” She finally said, summoning up everything she felt in that one word.
They moved on down the street, turning now towards the tower, its looming presence drawing ever closer and Kyrea gave a little giggle of excitement over where she was headed, her small hands clutching the pole of her parasol even tighter. She felt like a little girl headed for the candy shop.
