Riley, too, began reading. When Kyrea looked up to him, his eyes flickered to meet hers. He gave a quick, shy smile then lowered his eyes to the words covering the page.
When she sighed, he looked up again. He exhaled deeply, the scent of leather and paper filling his nose.

It was nice to have one of her own simply to sit with and do nothing more than to read. Certainly, her time spent with Titus was incredible in and of its own right and she would shortly, need to go to him so as to hold her promise of not leaving him alone to read anything to do with Dhakham. To this, she would make good as she definitely did not head is warning lightly. She knew the draw he continued to have over herself and how hard it had been to slip form his grasp those two-hundred years before as well, the dangers he still held within his very writings. That however could wait until morning, when Riley and the others were safely asleep in their rooms awaiting the night once more. Right now, she had Riley and was there, should he wish to ask anything at all, or simply sit with and read until dawn.
Kyrea looked up from her book once more after a few moments more of reading and watched him for a moment. She could tell his choice wasn’t one of great interest but he continued to read all the same. This she felt from him and nothing more, no she couldn’t read his mind, but she felt deeply the feelings of others, especially of her own kind. She smiled at him softly once more and then returned to her own work of literature, she found quite interesting, and continued to comfortably relax, something she hadn’t done in a while.

Riely glanced up at Kyrea twice more before sensing her eyes flickering to him. He kept his eyes on the letters in front of him, glad that he could not blush. For some reason he felt like the new student that had to stand uo in front of the class and talk about himself, even though his present state didn`t hold any verbal communication.
