Charlie smiled all the more when they reach their destination, though the cool night air did feel good to her, she didn’t want to be outside after what had transpired at the bar, and though she felt safe enough, of course, being drunk could have had a lot to do with that, she was happy to get back indoors once more.
When they walked in, she reached for her purse and drew it open, this time, without any trouble at all, and after a bit of tinkling from the coins inside, she produced a key. “Room.. 17” She stated quit firmly, handing the key to Odin for some unknown reason.
“That thing you did with the chairs, and the...” She made am attempt at a kick, but lost her balance and laughed. “Well you did it so much better.” She said after falling into him. “You want to come up?” She asked. “I honestly don’t know if I’ll make it up those stairs without you.” She giggled at herself again.

Odin wasn’t quite sure what to say to Charlie’s humor on his chair kicking attack, but she was certainly giving him plenty of reason to laugh and smile; an all around good time. “Room seventeen.” He repeated, taking the key in hand.
It seemed odd to ask if he would go with her after she already gave him the key, but she was in fact quite drunk. “Of course I’ll go up with you.” He said, smiling at Charlie when she looked at him. He was still holding on to her waist and began up the stairs with her to room 17 where he stuck the key in the lock and opened the door.
Once inside, Odin closed the door and walked Charlie towards her bed. She would surely land on the floor otherwise.

Charlie was quiet as he lead her up those stair, concentrating on her every step, she was trying so hard not to trip but inevitably, she did, a few times as a matter of fact before they reached the door.
When he led her over to the bed she stumbled once on the rug this time and then made an attempt at kicking it for tripping her. “Stupid rug.” She pouted. It was all good and fine if she tripped over nothing, that was her fault, but when that nasty rug got in the way, it wasn’t quite so funny to her and she honestly got upset over it, though that lasted all of about half a minute.
Charlie then hopped away from his grasp and landed on the bed, laying face down at first, but then rolled over and sat up, her legs hanging over the edge and now looked up, following his body from his legs upwards to his face, her eyes noticing for the first time that evening, the sword strapped to his leg but made no comment about it, many people carried weapons after all. She then patted the spot next to her and smile up at him, taking one hand and brushing a piece of hair from her face that had evidently fallen out of its restraint.
“Have a seat.” She offered. “And this time, I got to offer it to you.” She smiled at him, though that smile wasn’t all together as genuine as the ones she’d been giving all night as her mind had slipped once more to the reasoning for her wanted drunken state in the first place. “Or I think there’s some water in that container, if you want some first.” She told him offhandedly.

When Charlie complained about the rug and tried to kick it, Odin kicked the rug as well. He didn’t know what to say about it, so he did as she did.
Odin watched Charlie as she flopped down onto the bed and then rolled over and sat up. She was an incredibly beautiful woman, and the dress she wore highlighted her form wonderfully. He sat next to her when she invited him. “Thank you for offering me the seat.” He said then, looking over at Charlie with a smile and putting his arm back around her waist and leaning in to kiss her.

Charlie was thinking, or trying to think when he sat down next to her and she smiled over at him as he put his arm around her, a most welcome feeling that had become. When he leaned in to kiss her, she met him the remainder of the way and at first, lightly brushed her lips on his, turning her head to the side and then pressing in for a deep one as her arm moved out form under his and her hand moved along his shoulder to find a resting point on his shoulder, her thumb on that hand brushing his cheek from front to back just before she cupped his head in her hand and turned in even more to their kiss. Her other hand then moved too, over his chest, stopping a moment there to pull him by his shirt, closer to her and then moved on up to his other shoulder and found a resting spot there.
All her thoughts suddenly fell away, her mind no longer tripping over itself like the drunken fool it was. She was caught up in that one kiss so entirely that even the pain she held in her heart seemed to drain away entirely for the first time that entire day. All her stress and the reasoning behind her current state became non-existent. The simple feeling of warmth from his hand on her back to the deep passion she now put into this one kiss as she now pressed herself against him as if she couldn’t get close enough,
She pressed her chin forward for a moment and then back again, pulled away for a second to move her lips over his and look at his face and then returned her lips to him once more, not wanting to stop.
She didn’t even once think that she was sitting in her bed in her room at the inn with some guy she had just met at a bar. She didn’t even know him, she didn’t know a lick about him and honestly, right now, she didn’t care.
