“It’s your fault I’m having a good time tonight.” Odin told her as he put a hand over hers to stop her shaking and take her hand away from her purse. “I didn’t have to kick the chairs; that was just me.”
“The chairs aren’t a problem actually.” Leia said then. “Those guys were trouble. I have to thank you Odin, they could have cost more than two cheap chairs. The glasses you broke though, that’s going on your tab.” After that, Leia walked away and went back to work.
“I’ll deal with her later.” Odin said to Charlie as he put an arm around her waist. “What do you want to do now?” he asked her.

Charlie took a deep breath and then smiled as he took her hand away from her purse and then with her other hand, brought the tankard of ale up to her lips and finished off the drink, tipped it upside down and then smiled. “All gone.” She stated quite innocently just before placing it on the table before them.
She wasn’t going to press the matter of who was going to pay for what, or who’s fault for doing what it was. And when he placed his hand around her waist she turned into him and placed her hands, one on each shoulder.
“I don’t know…” She started and then leaned in, putting her lips up to his ear and whispered. “I’m drunk.” Then gave a sort of half giggle as she pulled her head back again.
She was going to suggest a walk, but then the men he’d just kicked out might still be around and even in her drunken state she knew they inevitably run into them again and she’d had enough of that for one night.

Odin chuckled at Charlie’s drunken innocence. When she put her hands on his shoulders, he put his other hand back around her waist. Besides the fact that she had a body he loved to touch, he felt as though she could use the support. “Yes,” he said after she leaned back from his ear, “You’re drunk.” With that he pressed his lips tightly against hers and squeezed her waist firmly in his hands.
“Let’s get out of here.” He started after drawing his lips off hers. “You don’t need any more drinks. This district is trouble though, but the Fair Lady is next door.” Odin had never let go of her waist, but he wasn’t squeezing so tightly either.
“Square up next time?” Leia asked in passing on her way to another table.
“Yeah, maybe tomorrow night.” Odin replied. He was around enough that everyone knew who he was and everyone knew they would see him again, especially at the Odyssey.

Charlie wasn’t expecting the kiss, but she certainly didn’t object either and kissed him back. When he pulled his lips away from her she gave her head a little shake as if trying to look at him through clearer eyes, but that didn’t work at all.
“Good thing I don’t have to work tomorrow” She laughed at that and then fell silent and remained as such for several moments.
“Ok, if you say so then.” She smiled again. “I happen to have a room there already.” She told him. “I knew I wouldn’t make it home in the dark, so…” She paused, her thought trailing off and moving on all at once. In her drunken state it was a wonder she could make out sentences at all. She turned just as they were walking out the door and kissed him on the cheek. “That was way hot by the way.” She said, as if he’d know what she was talking about.
As they moved toward the inn, it turned out to be a very good thing he had his hand around her waist otherwise she’d have hit the ground a few times. Each time she tripped over nothing, she giggled. She was having fun, that much was obvious.

“Well that was a great choice.” Odin said about her having secured a room before going to the Odyssey. Pier Side truly was a terribly shady place and she should not have been walking alone through there to begin with, let alone at night and much less drunk. “You don’t wanna forget your coat though.” He said as he turned to grab Charlie’s cloak from the back of her chair and draped it over her shoulders. The ocean always brought a cold wind over the shores at night.
“Well I don’t know what you’re talking about but if you think something was hot, I’ll take it.” Charlie almost fell over a few times even though the destination was only the next building, but Odin wasn’t about to let he fall and he enjoyed the way she laughed at herself. It was good to meet someone who wasn't a stiff, taking everything too seriously. Charlie was obviously at the bar for a reason though, and Odin wasn't sure what it was. The night air was cold, but they were at the Fair Lady soon enough.
